Ok Ok, I had to hire a real plumber to install it. So Glad I did, I have old coper pipes, may not be the same for PVC or flex connections. These are great and hooked right up to my tankless water heater. Getting the copper pipes to these was a huge challenge, On wanted to charge me thousands. Found one to do it for a few hundred. Could not be happier.

These are a good valve - they have nice machined threads, had no issues making them up. They do say lead free on the side, but I do not see the NSF/ANSI/CAN 372 number - so if you have a picky insector you might spend a few bucks more on the name brand model.These do have unions on them - I couldn't quite tell from the photos.Ball valves work great - some said they are too tight. They should be a little tight - they are new valves. I didn't have any issue.

Haven't installed them yet but they are made much better than the ones that were installed when my home was constructed. Will update review after installation.

Have to flush the water heater once a year, requires these valves to cut the water off to the heater and circulate the cleaning solution through the heater. They work great. Very solid valves.
