This Nut & Bolt Thread Checker gauge is a very good product. It was much larger and heavier than I had expected, I'm sure from all the metal in it, but is built well and is of very good quality. The threads I've tried are accurate, though I didn't test all of them. Nice!

I have trotuble buying gifts for my husband because when he wants something he just buys it. This year I insisted he give me some ideas and this was one of them, He had a metric one but wanted the non-metric one, I tried a few stores including Harbor Freight ToolI. The first employee I asked didn't know if they had one so he went to his manager bringing the metric one that I had and told me that they didn't carry it but that they should. I bought it from Amazon and let my husband choose from the several manufacturers that made some and were listed on Amazon, Although it wasn't a surprise, he was very happy to receive it,

Product quality is good but there is not enough spacing on the larger bolts to screw the nuts onto the threads. So if yo are only looking for 1/2†or down or 12mm down you are good to go.

I like the fact you have standard and metric thread to cross reference bolts and nuts that are loosen your garage

Terrible design. There is not enough space between the studs to thread a nut on for all of the larger ones. How people can sell junk like this is beyond belief.
