I ordered the snaps for a clear vinyl tarp to go on my porch. I was going to staple the tarp to the porch but saw the snaps. I saved $$ by applying the snaps compared to special ordering a tarp with snaps. They worked perfect.

I used these snaps to make a mainsail cover out of two old tube style covers which I cut at the seam and then put snaps every foot. The two old covers have a half dozen snaps holding them together. I would recommend using them every 8-10 inches (208-260mm) because while the cover has stayed on, I can tell it needs more in case of a storm.The box they come in is terrible. The dividers don't work, the latch doesn't work, and it's a flexy little bugger. I moved everything into a Plano box and it's much better! They'd get 5 stars instead of 4 if I didn't have to use another box to hold everything.

I normally do crafts and small “fix it†repairs around home, however my husband took on repairing snaps and was amazed how easy the kit worked

The quality looked ok ,but I was splitting it in half and all the counts were off it was a 350 piece set but we only got 330 pieces. I guess when you bulk pack them like they do most people wouldn’t even notice. Well I hope it was just a mistake and depending how well the work on my boat and camper will the deciding factor if I get any more

Nice kit, but steel was weak. Replaced about 60 snaps on the boat and cover on my Hurricane 21 boat cover. More than a third of them were broken in less than 2 weeks just from the cover tension. Avoid these unless they are for something extremely light duty.Captain Red
