The cooidea audio switcher is a small and delicate 3.5mm audio interface bi-directional switcher that allows users to conveniently switch between 2 audio sources/playback devices.
By simply pressing a button，you can easily choose to connect the common channel to either channel 1 or channel 2.
This audio switcher boasts a low-impedance design that delivers high-fidelity audio reproduction while minimizing cable noise. The device also features a high-quality headphone jack with gold-plated contacts for reliable performance.
This device supports the use of a three-segment headphone jack. If you use a four-segment headphone jack with microphone functionality, it can be used to play audio, but microphone functionality is not supported.
Modes and Usage:
It features a common port and two channels: Channel 1, Channel 2.
Two operational modes are available:
A.1x2 Mode (One input to Two output):
1.Connect the audio source (such as mobile phone, computer, audio player, etc.) to the common port;
2.Connect two audio receiving devices (such as headphones, speakers, amplifier inputs, etc.) to Channel 1 and Channel 2, respectively;
3.Press the switch on the switcher to toggle the audio output channel.
B.2x1 Mode (Two input to One output):
1.Connect two audio sources (such as mobile phone, computer, audio player, etc.) to Channel 1 and Channel 2, respectively;
2.Connect an audio receiving device (such as headphones, speakers, amplifier inputs, etc.) to the common port;
3.Press the switch on the switcher to toggle the audio source.

I bought this product to be able to switch between external speakers and Bluetooth headphones for my TV. Installation was simple and extra connection cables were included for differences in TV output ports.It works well, and I'm very satisfied.

I did see several reviews complaining about static when using to inputs to one output. I did experience static when plugging into inputs but not under all circumstances.How I am using this device: I have an XM Roadie and iPhone with dongle as inputs and output to my trucks Line in. I do not get static with the XM and iPhone plugged in together and the switch works as I had intended. I did get static noise when charging on the iPhone from the car through the dongle, the static was only on the iPhone channel and not on the XM channel. I did try changing the iPhone dongle and found that when using a T adapter on the iPhone and charging with the an Apple lighting to 3.5mm no noise. The Dongle that did cause the noise was a pigtail with charging and 3.5mm all in one connector.

Simple, sleek design. Totally functional; cuts one line completely allowing the other to transmit its singal (no interference). You can be creative and stack these switches if you have two sources going to two outputs (you'll just need a male to male connecting jack [ no massive switch box needed]). If its too complicated to remember, use file folder stickers to identify the various functions. Professional solution to your "twin" channeling needs. Thank you, Coo(L)idea!

I have computer speakers and a set of headphones. It was a pain to constantly change the plug on my computer and possibly wearing out the port. Now both audios are constantly plugged in. This little switcher a great job a 1 in and 2 out. I hear no distortion or feedback using this switcher.

I was going to use this to switch between my work and personal computers so I wouldn't have to move the aux back and forth. Plugged it in and immediate static. Brand new aux cords were used and I even plugged in some others I had laying around and same behavior.Other than that it's a nifty little design that would have been great but if it causes auditory distress then what's the point?

While the form factor of this product is exactly what I was looking for, when the cables for both outputs are connected at the same time, the devices has a high-pitched buzz. If this is due to the proximity of electrical components, I feel like shielding should have been added to prevent the noise. Surely something like this could have been caught during QA testing, unless this is an anomoly and I have a defective item. The only way I can use the device is if I plug one output in at a time, which provides exactly zero benefit over not having it.

Lo he comprado porque tengo dos ordenadores, para cambiar el sonido entre uno y otro. El problema es que oigo un fuerte zumbido, mucho mas alto que el propio sonido. Como generador de zumbido es genial, pero la idea era poder escuchar audio.El fallo sospecho que está en que el conmutador acopla los voltajes de las dos entradas, un conmutador barato conmuta un solo circuito de dos entradas, en vez de tres circuitos (masa + izquierdo + derecho) de dos entradas. Al conmutar un solo circuito entre dos entradas, estás mezclando los otros dos circuitos, y es fácil tener un acople entre señales. El tÃpico fallo de diseño barato para ahorrar costes de fabricación.

Excellent produit. Peut-être un peu cher mais correspond parfaitement à mes attentes (mettre deux entrées son jack sur la même sortie et pouvoir switcher entre les deux).Bref fonctionne très bien, aucune interférence, ni en le manipulant, ni lors du switch.À noter qu'un câble jack d'un mètre est fourni, c'est parfait !

It does not isolate the two input sources for interfering with each other, connecting my computer and my mac together to the speaker using this device results in background noise. Connecting only one of them results in no noise.
