Seeing Canon 5D MII, I thought the flash end would fit into any port. I actually thought that was standard. The cable is useless because it will not fit an older flash. I live in Colombia in South America. It would have been too expensive for me to send the cable back to Amazon (costs more than the item itself). The cable therefore just lies in a box of unused cables. My lesson: do not take anything for granted; check every size for gadgets!
