These concrete screws are 100% equivalent to a major brand found in big box stores, but much cheaper. At the big box stores a box of hex head ¼” x 1-3/4” masonry/concrete screw is $7.98 for a pack of 8. These screws come in a pack of 35 for $8.99 and includes the drill bit and hex driver bit. You only get the drill bit with the major brand when buying in larger quantities and I’ve never purchased a pack that includes the drill driver magnetic hex bit.During testing on concrete, I found no discernable difference in either the concrete screws or the included concrete drill bit from the other multiple concrete screws I already have on hand purchased from the big box hardware store. When applying the proper torque and tightness of the screw, this set of screws perform just a good as the more expensive products. Since I don’t have a method to test the torque and amount of shear to break the head off the screw, I cannot evaluate the quality of the steel utilized with these screws. For a much cheaper alternative, these screws are the best choice in concrete screws as compared to more expensive brands.

I am using these screws for wood and not concrete but I still feel confident in saying that these are quality concrete screws because they are much, much more hardy than any wood screws I have ever used. I drilled one of these screws into a thick, dense chunk of wood with no pilot hole and it doesn't show even the slightest sign of stripping despite the amount of torque it took to drive it all the way in (see my review photo where cheaper screws snapped before driving all the way in). I am planning on using these screws for a project when I need to rely on the screws performing well under a lot of stress where other screws might fail.

The screws are of great quality. I tried it in concrete, and it didn't bend or break. It wasn't an easy installation but the screw hold it really well.

I haven't had any quality control issues with these. They work just as well as the ones you find at any other big box store, but at a lower price.

I am using this to fasten wood to CMU and can not tell any difference from the name brand screw. Comes in a nice resealable box and quality 5/16 driver bit.

I find myself in need of concrete screws for more and more projects around the house. These will absolutely come in handy. Packaged well, includes a double sided Phillips bit and a drill bit. Good quantity for the price and the quality of the screws seem fine so far. The blue coating comes off into my fingers when I hold the screws but I don't care. You'll be glad you've got these in your arsenal. Worth the purchase!

Took a bit of effort, but I was able to anchor my winding hose reel to a large paver with some associated washers. So far they’re holding up well.

I got these to secure one end of a railing post to a cellar to garage stairway. The screws seem to be of good quality but I don’t have much experience drilling into concrete. The accompanying masonry drill bit gave me a little trouble but that may just be because I need more practice. I only needed a couple of screws for this job, and so I don’t think I’ll get that practice here. The supplied magnetic driver bit is a nice touch.
