...not only for reasons of leached chemical toxicities but because you can actually taste those bleaching chemicals in your food so even if the former is not a concern, the latter is still significant.this is a renewable resource that saves quite a lot of water by making your baking dishes much easier to clean without soaking/scrubbing/etcetera while also extending the life of those pans/dishes by preventing baked on grease which is really uncooperative in it's removal and releases toxins into the air when not removed from your baking pans/dishes that exacerbate breathing conditions/asthma/allergies, etcetera. This 365 every day by whole foods unbleached baking parchment also breaks down completely in landfills which promotes breakdown of other materials. This unbleached parchment is wider than the other brand of unbleached parchment which while having the same square footage results in having less footage in length as the other but covers the larger baking sheets more efficiently than the if you care unbleached parchment typically available on the Amazon grocery shopping portals as well as being slightly thicker-though not as thick as it used to be,not sure why they changed it, the previous was better-and less slickery, it is more absorbent and easier to handle heavier products while still warm such as dense cakes, breads, biscuits, cookies, and while notably light weight, merengues as the residual moisture from the products can be disbursed into/across the parchment resulting in a drier bottom or breaded meats/poultry/fish/vegetables(zucchini sticks with italian herb seasoned breadcrumbs, so delicious) as opposed to the more nonstick consistency of the if you care product which allows for oven browning of roasted potatoes, various cuts of meats/poultry, candies from quick fudge (one can 365 every day organic sweetened condensed milk, heated, one bag 365 every day organic semi sweet chocolate chips, splash of vanilla or other flavoring mixed into the milk prior to adding the chocolate chips so it doesn't seize, mix thoroughly then pour on/in parchment lined pan to cool. Once set, cut in pieces and wrap tightly in cut pieces of same parchment to store so does not dry out)/caramels/dipped chocolates, etc.I always prefer to have both unbleached parchments, this 365 everyday by whole foods unbleached parchment and the if you care brand unbleached parchment as each has their own unique properties depending on what you are baking/making/etcetera.Both make excellent disposable pastry bags for frostings(double thickness if using tip/piping/chocolate for drizzle or filling chocolate molds with the melted chocolate as well as the fillings said chocolates, etcetera making it easier to peel the parchment off of your finished products. I especially like when making chocolates as the remaining chocolate in the paper can be set aside to cool then pops right off of the slickery parchment to go back into the melting pot for next time-store in air tight zip top bag. While it is totally worth it to have both brands of unbleached parchment on hand, if budget constraints prevent doing so, the 365 every day by whole foods unbleached baking parchment is notably less expensive.

It's a larger size than needed, so we just cut what is needed and save extra pieces for next use. It'll last a while.

Parchment paper is great, but the roll falls out of the box all the time and I can't find a way to make it stick/stay in there.

I am a wife and mother, so lots of cooking happens in our home. I’ve definitely had my fair share of parchment paper, but these work beautifully. I love that I can put these on auto ship with my subscription!
