Why do we choose a 365nm UV flashlight instead of a 395nm UV flashlight?
Compared to the 395nm UV flashlight, the 365nm UV flashlight is easier to find more rocks and is also cheaper, significantly reducing your budget. Additionally, only under the 365nm UV flashlight will rocks emit an orange-red glow, while the purple light emitted by the 395nm UV flashlight does not have this effect. Therefore, choosing our 365nm UV flashlight will make it easier for you to find these glowing rocks!
Why is some cat urine not detectable under a UV flashlight?
Urinary components: Urea and uric acid in cat urine are substances that can emit fluorescence, but not all cat urine contains enough urea and uric acid to produce a noticeable fluorescence reaction. Therefore, some cat urine may not have enough components to generate visible fluorescence under UV light.

I've owned many UV lights before. Typically, the best ones had fluorescent tubes since they emit UV light by default and need the coating inside the tube to make it visible. I had purchases several LED UV lights in the past, but they were always disappointing. LEDs in the UV range can be rather expensive, whereas near-UV LEDs are fairly inexpensive, so that is what is typically used in cheap UV-LED lights. The problem with the near-UV LEDs is that you don't get the full UV effect that you are looking for.This light is definitely the best UV-LED light that I have owned thus far! Comparing it to a fluorescent UV lamp, there was no discernible difference in the UV effect. Pet urine is easily detectable as a dull-yellowish stain under UV light. Depending on what you use to to clean your carpets, some detergents have an agent which produces a bright white glow under UV light. The photo I have provided is a hallway that has been carpeted for over 14 years, and with several pets (and many pet messes over the years), it is not surpring that it looks like a Jackson Pollock painting when illuminated by this UV flashlight.

I use this flash lite to go yooperlite (bright orange speckled rocks in the picture) hunting and this is the perfect flashlight for it. Although, I wish it were a little brighter so I can see a wider area.
