Got this to put in my spares box. This is one item that you do NOT want to be without. For a buck thirty, why not? Its about half what you'd pay for the name brand item, and appears to be an exact replacement. I'm happy to have it on hand should the need arise. It's great that they include the outside brass screws, those suckers are subject to a lot of corrosive wear and need to be replaced fairly often.For anyone attempting to do this repair for the first time, the black plastic "duct" housing is just a slip fit into the toilet base. Once in there, it tends to get kind of stuck so you'll probably need to use a fair bit of force to yank the old one out. You do NOT need to unscrew the impeller blade.

Bought it to replace the Jabsco quiet flush. Fit same space, but very LOUD, makes a LOUD grinding noise that is grating.

I purchased 6 of these macerators and each one failed within a year. They start leaking and toilet water or waste flows out through the macerator.
