Bowl gaskets seem porous and seep gas out continually and drip on manifold.

I'm an older seasoned automotive technician, I'm reviewing this product based on my many years of experience in the field using high quality parts, supplies, and tools. This carburetor kit is for many Holley carburetors along with several aftermarket carburetors. Was hoping that they got the issues with these kits under control, but unfortunately the gaskets still do not fit properly. Was able to use some of the kit, but the gaskets just do not fit properly. Price point is considered high given some of the gaskets in the kit don't fit correctly.

Poor excuse for a carb kit. Tolerances of parts are too fat..Power valve needle & seat, anything threaded won't fit. Gasket material seems like china junk. Just finished second time through with AED kit & all went just fine. BUY CHEAP & YOU GET WHAT YOU DESERVE. MY MISTAKE!

Gasket set arrived in a zip lock bag, I wish they were packed better. This is the first carb kit I’ve seen with no direction sheet. All parts were soaked in a bucket of carburetor cleaner. I found the float adjustment procedure on the internet. The gaskets just behind the metering block were the hardest to remove from your old carburetor. The rest was pretty straightforward and everything thing fit the carb good. Great price for all the pieces you get with this kit. Just wish there were directions.

Previous to using this brand of carburator rebuild kit, strickly Holley brands have been used. My comments are based on the comparison between this kit and a Holley kit. I save all of the old gaskets, seals and retaining clips upon disassembly. After soaking in carburator cleaner, the unit is removed, washed with tap water and with compressed air is dried as well as clearing all internal passages. After laying out all carb parts in an orderly fashion, the kit purchased from Amazon was opened for inspection. Seals for the fuel inlet and idle mixture screws were not correct and the old seals had to be reused. The power valve is very questionable as well as the needle and seat assemblies. The unit is reinstalled on the engine. We are hoping for the best results. The 'cheaper' way to go is many times more costly in the long run.

Very bad gasket material. Soaks up gas and weeps out excess all over the place. Not very happy with this purchase at all.

Ordered this kit to rebuild carberator for our Vintage car. When I went to rebuild it there were air screw seals and the gasket for the excellerator pump missing from the kit. Had to use the old ones.

Gaskets are good but one had a little bend in it.Very affordable and worked within my budget but I may upgrade to the blue gaskets in the future.
