I used these to rehang a shelf that fell. To add extra reinforcement in between the studs, these went in smoothly and gripped the wall well. My shelf is holding nicely.

Had some heavy speakers that needed mounting and no studs where I wanted them. Used these toggles about 1 year ago and still holding great.

After receiving this product, I had problems with a few of the wings slipping thru the bolt. This was most likely from the threads on the wing not properly machined, the wing slipped on the bolt when tightened. It would be nice is the supplier would bring this to the attention of the manfacture.

Several of the nuts had no threads, and one assembly just stripped out with only light pressure. I usually have good results with Hillman, so I'll consider this just a bad batch.

Absolute garbage!!!! The toggle bolt nut is not drilled or tapped correctly causing the nut of the bottle to fail very prematurely. I don't usually take the time to write a review on a piece of garbage, I just don't buy it again. But these are of such horrible quality and have eased so much of my time I have had to sit down and cool down in the middle of the job and this I am taking to time to write this review. Absolute trash. Only 5 of the 25 nuts actually held and I will likely get called back to redo the job as they will likely fail in the near future.
