RT Rim Protectors are designed to be light weight and durable, acting as a barrier between the wheel rim and the curb - protecting your wheels from curb rash and covering up existing damage. Each RT Rim Protectors kit includes enough material to protect 4 wheels, up to 24 inches each. They are extremely easy to install, they simply stick to the wheel with a very high bond tape for easy DIY installation with no removal of the tire required. They are available in Multiple Colors – you can go with a contrasting color such as red, blue, yellow or white to add some style to your rims or you can go with black to try and match your wheels and keep your Rim Protectors on the down low.

Simple DIY Installation
RT Rim Protectors simply stick to the face of the outer lip of wheel, which can be done without removing the wheel or tire.
RT Rim Protectors fit most flat or slightly curved wheels. They will not fit on wheels with cut out sections in lip or raised spokes at lip. Email a picture of your wheel if you are not sure.
Fits Most Tesla Wheels
RT Rim Protectors are perfect for Tesla Model S, X, Y and 3. ¼ inch fits Slipstream, Arachnid, Cyclone, Turbine, Helix, Uber Turbine, Induction, Stiletto and Aero wheels. 3/8 inch fits Slipstream, Turbine, Uber Turbine, Induction and Stiletto wheels
Fitting Guide
- Wearing gloves, clean wheel lip with rubbing alcohol towels. wipe the wheel lip with alcohol wipe.
- Apply promoter with gentle, thorough strokes to outer lip of rim. Allow to set for up to 5 mins.
- Peel 1" of backing tape and apply trim so guide lip is resting on outer edge of wheel lip.
- Continue 1" at a time using guide lip to line up. Pull backing tape from under rim trim & press down
- Cut / Trim Excess - Cut rim trim as well as you can so that the ends but up with no overlap.
- Wipe promoter over seam where clip will be applied. Remove backing tape and apply clip.
- Press down rim trim & clip. Use alcohol to clean any promoter. Adhesive takes 36 hrs to fully bond.
- You can drive immediately after installation. Do not apply any cleaning chemicals for 1 week.

I thought that these would be a harder plastic or strong rubber for protecting my rim edges.Instead, it's essentially a thin piece of hard but flexible weather stripping with a sticker. It fell off immediately and I fail to see how it would protect your time whatsoever.

Two days after I put these rim protectors on, I turned too wide in the school car line & hit the curb!! 🤦ðŸ¼â€â™€ï¸ Even the security guy cringed! I was too embarrassed to ask him to check my rims for me so when I got home I dreaded looking & GUESS WHAT??? MY RIMS WERE SAVED!! Only my tire showed white scratches from the cement! I’m not sure why I waited so long to buy these for my car but I’m so glad I finally did!! They were super easy to put on & even had a video to watch which was helpful. I consider myself a very good driver, it’s just parallel parking & curbs that have always been my nemesis. Not anymore!

Looks great. Maybe it'll be better if you put them on before you bang your rims. Some parts didn't stick. Also it messed my one of my rims. It was coming off so I ripped it off plus it damaged my rims paint. so I need to if that. Probably gonna have to dish out more money to by another one to make my rims match.

After some initial confusion which turned out not to be the sellers fault, the seller stood by his product and the Rim Guards have stayed on problem free even after several hand car washes and highway driving. Great product and i would and will buy again......These stay on much better than the other knockoffs and i highly recommend them.
