The nylon Stainless nuts worked well for me. They tightened down well with no issues. They appeared to be of good quality visually. I used them to mount D rings on a trailer so they will be exposed to the environment 24/7. Only time will tell how good the stainless is out in the weather.

This review is for 3/8"-16 (10 Pack) Stainless Nylon Insert Lock Nuts, from MAKERS BOLT Store, $5 on amazon.I’m in the process of adding a hose attachment to my Might Mac lawn vac. I need four 3/8-16 lock nuts to hold the adapter in place onto the impeller scroll and four more to secure the hose adapter to the scroll adapter. So I need eight 3/8-16 lock nuts in total. These are not something that I would tend to use very often so I didn’t want to buy too many of them. This ten pack met my needs just fine at 50 cents for each nut. Wensilon (amazon) sells twenty nuts for $8 = 40 cents each but, again, I don’t need that many.They are stainless so they will not rust when I hose the lawn vac down after use.

The item being reviewed is 3/8"-16 (10 Pack) Stainless Nylon Insert Lock Nuts by Makers Bolt. Priced at $4.97 at the time of review. I rate it 4 out of 5 stars.These bolts work as expected. Some of the nylon insert look in worse shape than others but they all work fine. The durability is to be tested but for the price they seem fine.

Hard to review a bolt, but these have true thread profiles as confirmed by my thread gauge. The finish is nice, the locking insert does a marvelous job of keeping it locked. Great chamfers on the edges. Way better value than going to a local store

They are the correct thread size and pitch. Not much to say about these nylon lock nuts other than they work and appear to be of good quality. Expensive some might say but these are stainless steel. So, if don't care for that and just need something cheaper, of course go with regular steel nuts. Stainless steel bolts and nuts are always more expensive, but you get something more durable and corrosion resistant. My local store sells them individually for roughly 4 cents more, but I live in a crazy State and city.Advertised as 18-8 stainless steel and appears to be so. However, it's slightly (weak) magnetic--don't be alarm by this as some SS can be somewhat magnetic depending on a lot of factors.

These are great nyloc nuts. They appear to be very durable, and the price is WAY below what you'll pay for them at your local big box hardware store. Buy them!
