I had to install a big sign at the bottom of my rural driveway. Knowing there are people who like to pilfer all kinds of signs, I wanted to do something to deter thefts of my property. So, I used these zinc theft resistant spanner nuts along with the corresponding bolts to secure my sign to the pole. I added a dab of Loc-Tite to each bolt/nut, and since it takes a special driver tool to secure these in-place, I was pretty confident my signs wouldn't be taken/stolen so easily. It's been a couple years now, and my signs are still where I mounted them, so I think these theft-resistant spanner nuts are doing their job!

Works great, although a little hard to keep the driver bit on the nut to tighten. I am using these to secure my Trail lights to my light bar on my Jeep Wrangler
