I’ve used this a few times now - the ratchet mechanism is tight & solid. I can really crank on it without fear of breaking it. Nice tool great bargain

I have been very happy with these socket wrenches. They are very heavy and substantial. I've only used them a few times, but I have not been disappointed.

Update: Moved up to 4 stars as Amazon sent a replacement ratchet and the chrome was fine. Seems like a real solid tool for the price. The rachet mechanism seems solid and overall is a good tool but mine came with the chrome peeling off right out of the package without ever even being used. Hopefully I just received a bad one and it will be replaced.

Has a good solid feel to it. I had a little fun trying to disengage the socket I was using -- I'm used to a ratchet that just uses a sprung bearing detent, so I've always just pulled the socket off. Well, this ratchet has a MUCH better design: you press a button on the opposite side from the socket, and that's how it releases. Very nice.If you're looking for a small 1/4 " ratchet, this fits the bill nicely. It feels good in the hand, no freeplay. It's very well designed and made.

I used it today. Dedicated tool to loosen/tighten the two chain adjusting cover nuts on my 40V chain saw.Works great, felt good. The "quick release" feature should be renamed - I wanted it because quick-release ratchets "lock on" to most sockets - so I don't lose the socket in the leave litter. This works, too. It's a nice tool, buy one. Or two.
