I've had an outbreak of a particular weed in our lawn that I've been dealing with. I can't spray the herbicide I want because of our dogs and don't care for all the bending over to remove them. So I got this tool and it works really well! Just find the center of the weed and push down and twist. Then a quick action on the handle releases the core with the weed! Viola!It also appears to be built pretty solidly with a heavier metal tube and thick plastic, and the tines that go into the ground appear to be strong. The assembly instructions are OK with fairly decent diagrams, and within a few minutes I figured out how to put it together (the correct amount of fasteners were included). So 5 stars as I haven't seen any downside to this product . . .

It does the job fine for smaller weeds, the bigger ones, you have to go back and do it 2 or 3 times to get it all out. Also, after every stab at the weed, you have to clear of the end of the stick, as it is full of dirt and mud.

This tool does exactly what it’s supposed to. It’s built well, functions properly, easy to put together and simple to use. Being lightweight, you can get several weeds pulled without it being strenuous. Feels pretty durable and is quite comfortable, but I am concerned about how many seasons it will last. However, with that said, the price definitely makes this tool worth the purchase.

It was a breeze to pull out weeds. No need to bend, just push and twist, the weeds are out. It is very light and also good for reaching fruit from the tree, just twist and pull.
