I had to glue it with superglue and the initial glue would not hold well. water started to penetrate through the original glue. works well with super glue so that's additional cost.

I just built a curbless shower and had custom glass doors and panels installed. It looked fantastic! I was excited until I took the first shower and water poured out under the door. So I searched for solutions and decided to give this damn a try. It worked great! If you buy it though, read and follow the directions the FIRST time. I didn’t and had to go buy additional two sided tape and follow the directions exactly. Now it’s outstanding in how effective it is.

great product if you want something permanent. once you try to remove it the adhesive may damage the surface and extremely difficult to remove. Also, only use on flat surface. dont recommend using on tile counter or floor without caulking surrounding. It will leak if there is any unevenness in the tile thinset mortar.

I don't know if product works well or not yet. Bought it was ready to apply reading directions it says apply solicone adhesive around edgesbut at bottom of directions says adhesive not included. Who does this. Now I need to order and wait. I feel a small tube of the adhesive should be included. Hope it works after having to wsit now to get adhesive.

Needed to replace our previous sliding door water guard. It was not good and splashing water everywhere. This one was easy to cut and install. The adhesive seems to hold up well. After installing, make sure to seal both sides with caulk to prevent water from leaking where the adhesive is.It's working well so far. No more water splashing to the outside of our shower.

I purchased an expensive frameless shower door, only to find out after a few months that it had a defective design that caused it to leak, and of course I can no longer return it, and the manufacturer won't get back to me lol. I purchased this water dam, customized it a little bit to actually replace the bottom sweep seal, and now I no longer have to throw away this expensive door and get a sliding door. Could not be more happy

This is just a shaped plastic stripped cut to length. I was expecting a softer compound but it's more flexible length-wise than soft. It still hurts a little if I was careless and stepped on it.Installation is simple but I do put on considerable Gorilla clear glue along to seal it properly. For the price, I was expecting somewhat more exotic material that is hygienic, sturdy, and still formable when I step on it. It's just a strip of special-purpose plastic. It's still serves the purposes but I think at half the price it'd be worth it. As it is, it's functional but overpriced.
