Accuracy and 10-Step Error Prevention
- The step counter has advanced 3D Sensor technology to track step. For best accuracy, please use this pedometer for continuous and consistent walking activity and carry it stably. The 3D sensor relies on feeling the movement and impact of steps to count accurately.
- The 10-step error prevention feature prevents irregular non-walking movements from being falsely counted as steps. The sensor will start or resume counting steps after taking 10 consecutive steps. As long as walking continues, all steps taken before it begins or resumes counting will be added .
- In the following conditions, the pedometer may not be correct: carrying loosely, stationary exercises, holding in hand, using with a walking aid, taking slow or light steps and riding on transport such as buses, trains& cars.

I've had this for a fortnight or more. Unlike the more expensive one I got, with all kinds of digital details added on, it has kept on ticking (that one stopped just shy of the period of time I had to send it back, and the brand has now disappeared. This brand is pretty clear about how the pedometer works, and complainants here need to read the instructions. It doesn't count your steps every second that you move, in order to compensate for mistaken ones, so it pauses the ticker for a few seconds. I got two, one for home and one for my coat/purse. They are, so far, both working well. Someone on here complained that it stopped working after a drop: that is what happens when an objects falls from a height.

The step counter became stop counting steps it stayed on zero on February the 23rd 2 days after I can return it.

I had high hopes for this step monitor, unfortunately we didn’t get one that was very accurate. The display screen is very nice and clear, I did like that. However, when you start walking it misses count by a few steps. Sometimes it’s just one step, other times it’s two. I don’t think it’s a total dealbreaker, but you would want accurate readings if you were on a strict diet/walking schedule. It functions decently, but not sure how I feel completely. The device is light weight and I do like that you can either wear it attached to your waist or around your neck.
