Very heavy made material. A lot better than the stuff you would purchase from Sam’s Club.Super nice A Plus

Easy to work with and thick enough to keep out the weeds. But do not use this where you might want to remove it because it is difficult to remove even after a short period of time down. I used it for garden rows covering and it turned into more work than I expected.

Little thinner than I thought but put it down under a load of gravel by our house. No weeds have come up through it yet.

I tore out my lawn this summer to remodel my yard. The yard will be bare dirt - clay mud - through winter. I bought this to cover the high traffic areas including the dog run just to minimize the mud situation until the new lawn grows in next spring. I highly recommend using landscape pegs instead of staples for this fabric. I laid the barrier down while it was raining and windy and the pegs held this down tight. Once the barrier was down, I could walk on it in the rain and no mud came up through the fabric, so that’s a success. It’s also apparently still decently breathable as the squishy mud underneath dried out and firmed up at the same rate as the uncovered mud. It was easy to cut to length with standard scissors. I folded the cut and frayed edges underneath to hopefully keep it in good shape. It’s only been a few days but so far so good. I’ll update in June 2024 with how it fared with my husky running laps on it everyday for 7 months.Mid-winter update (Feb 2024): it’s holding up awesome, even with my dog doing her best to wear it down. No mud coming through, and the pegs are holding firm, no fraying on the edges. I am so glad I bought this.

Instead of a tight bonded weave, this product unravels. Producing strands of 1/16" ribbons that look like a rats nest. I tore out the entire amount and raked up what I could to try to eliminate a garden full of microplastics. I found the weave was loose enough that weeds could grow through it. Pleas do yourself and the environment a favor and stay away from this product!
