I was really surprised at what a difference these new straps made. I had originally ordered a new respirator, but there was some funkiness with a pre-opened delivery and then delays on a replacement, so I ordered these straps as a holdover. After putting them on the unit today, I felt a bit foolish. Super easy replacement and well worth the $10. About half cost of a new respirator, but you're also saving on landfill, waste, etc. I really believe in using an item as long as possible and the 3M half face I bought about 5 years ago is still in good condition. I would recommend these straps for anyone with a respirator in good shape who has even slightly worn straps (not the totally trashed level I had).

I finally got tired of fighting with my older half face respirator with the dead elastic straps and the broken top head strap so I broke down and bought this replacement head strap. It is an exact replacement. It took less than 30 seconds to change out and it breathed new life into my sad looking but still fully functional respirator. I should have done this a lot sooner!If you have old, dead straps on your otherwise functional half face respirator then do yourself a favor and swap them out. You will be glad that you did! I highly recommend this product!

I have looked for a while for a replacement to the head harness. In the three masks I have, the elastic was no longer stretchy. A new head harness makes an old respirator last quite a bit longer as a particulate mask. It was easy to remove the old one and replace with the new head harness. Money well spent.
