I am a DIY-er and felt like I did everything right, but this did not work for me in my particular application. I wanted to use it on wooden scrollwork in place of sanding as I was refinishing a hutch. It did get good reviews from others, and I do like 3M products. I will continue to use their products, and I will try this on other applications. I'm just really sad it didn't work. Would have saved me hours!

I used them to clean the deck surface on a small block 350 prior to a head gasket replacement. Cleans machined surfaces quickly and without any problems.

I had to purchase a die grinder to use with these as a drill can't generate high enough RPM. They work pretty good but I'm not sure they're worth the expense. You can buy many wire wheels and extensions for a drill for the cost of these and a die grinder to use them.

They are nice and I dig them. They do work well and less aggressive than flap wheels or sanding discs. They mostly match a wire wheel without the stupid wires poking out of everything like Pinhead on Hellraiser. For the price though, I'll be using them sparingly.

This kit is easy to use and works well. Seems to hold up well. Do wish they had a color guide though.

Excellent for cleaning up metal for welding or brake work. Only down side is they are pricey.
