The film was a little difficult to install on my wife’s Pilot due to the curved headlights. It went on easily on my 2006 Tundra. I ran out of film while doing the Pilot so you can see the difference after 10 months. Both headlights were cleaned but only the passenger side had the film installed. The passenger side looks the same as the day I installed the film.

No need to spend two or three times as much on precut film, this film is easy to work with and works great. Headlight housings are too expensive not to protect.

Review for the 3M vinyl product. The base waxy paper has the 3M logo all over. I've tried Dry install because that was the video I found on Youtube. Also then Wet install with Isopropyl alcohol and water & drop of Soap. Wet install is way better!! The 2 pictures are right after the installation. The first one shows alcohol bubbles under the vinyl, the second shows how the glue gets affected when you un-stick (pull) it from the lens. One day later and the glue marks of the unsticking are mostly gone; and so are the fluid bubbles. I don't know if one will hold better in the long run...To be seen. I recommand using the alcohol because it does not create soap bubbles and it's easy to glide the vinyl on the lens. The product would REALLY benefit from installation instructions because the youtube videos do NOT give you close up of what they look like after the install nor if the alcohol or soapy water will affect the adhesion in the long run. So I've tried dry install on the left and wet on the right. I've installed it on the Oddyssey and the RV headlights.Martin Politick, June 2019. I will return and edit my review if the product fails.Edit, more than one year after install, the vinyl still looks great. I installed the vinyl only on the headlights on the Honda and the difference is clear, the unprotected lens yellowed and is becoming opaque while the protected headlight is still very transparent !

Terrible Not even remotely clear even on glass enclosures. Looks like the cars clear coat was sprayed with the taillights on.All of the other reviews you read aren’t just because of a poor install... the roll is short for the price as well.VViViD industries is an awesome company and offers many other great products they are the only brand I buy from. But this product is not one of them... Thoroughly cleaned before application on brand new taillights. Tried both wet and dry application. I professionally wrap vehicles and tint windows for a living I usually do a tint on taillights for clients to black them out.I was thinking about laying some on a mirror to show how unclear the reflection is thus how unclear the product is, might add that to my review Later.

This is a good quality product. It’s thick and sticks well giving a nice and protective shield on your headlight lense. It’s worth using this product.

I used the product on my headlights, it didn't turn out the way I wanted but I tried, the film is good quality it feels pretty strong, it takes I little patience to do it, now I have to wait for how long its going to last

It’s a good quality film but unless you have experience with wraps it’s very difficult to get it right especially on the curve parts of the lights. I couldn’t get the wrinkles out and ended up just throwing it away

This looks like it is very good stuff. It's thick and smells like it will last a long time. It is a real pain in the patella to install though. Not easy at all. I tried in little colder weather and it was a major disaster. Wait till is hot before doing it. Also buy some extra for the flops you gonna make.

I tried to do my headlights. The film is too sticky and too soft/ stretchy. Once it touches itself glue marks remain. Extremely hard to work with on complex shapes.I did headlight wraps before successfully with thicker films.

First time tinting headlights and it came out OK. Looks great from 4 ft away and more importantly it lasted at least a year (I got rid of the car so can’t speak of it now). I also only installed it on one side and the other side was ceramic coated and this PPF had less scratches and less UV damage on it. It survived a Canadian winter didn’t seem to yellow much if any

Finally get enough for the old film I was applied 3 years ago, it has too much crease on it. I pulled old one down, the headlights has been protected from rock chips. It’s a big frustration to put on, but it does give good protection.
