So far anyway. Seems to be holding well on some chrome trim that came off . Aftermarket body clips were not going to be a good option at 8 bucks a pop !

Cuts easy. The backer tape makes it easy to install without making a mess. Sticks right away and appears to be resistant to outdoor environment. I am using it to secure the trim on my vehicle and it has held well! The thickness is made with a plastic material that is similar to a foam so that doesn’t appear to be at risk of rotting away.

I got this tape to reposition a rain guard that came loose on my car. The adhesion is much stronger than anything I've worked with before. Couple tips: be careful where you put down the tape. You will not be able to pull it off and reposition. Make sure the surfaces are all clean and dry before applying tape. I gave the rain guard and window crevice several good passes with rubbing alcohol. As soon as I put the guard back in, it was fully secured. Left the window up for a couple days to hold the guard in place, just as a precaution. But it was firmly in place right at the start. Great product!

Worked great… really important for surface to be clean and dry. Use an appropriate degreaser for tha t surface ( acetone or alcohol) and firmly press down on surface for 60 seconds.
