Your cart is empty.For maximum bond strength, the surface should be thoroughly cleaned and dried. Typical cleaning solvents are heptane or isopropyl alcohol. Carefully read and follow manufacturer’s precautions and directions for use when using cleaning solvents. This adhesive tape is NOT like normal adhesive tape that you can feel the adhesiveness when you use it. This tape need time and pressure to get into its adhesiveness. You have to press hard to one surface, than take out the red protective plastic and press the other surface part onto the Dark Grey part of the tape and leave that for 3 days to have the full bond strength. This is 3M product and we just sell whatever they have made. Customers are advise to search for more usage details from 3M web site.

I used small bits of this tape to adhere a pickup and a control circuit onto an archtop guitar pickguard. Plenty secure and can be removed with a thin putty knife if necessary. I'm sure I'll use more in my wood and electronics work.

This stuff works well, and has passed the test on several materials I tried it on. Some minor annoyances are, it's a bit hard to peel the backing because it sticks to it pretty tightly, it takes several days for it to reach full strength*. and it's a little thick. I would like it to be around .010 thinner to eliminate some of the dark tape line.*The bond is plenty strong from day 1, but gets super strong as the weeks go by. Recommended!

This is perfect for attaching vehicle lip spoilers. Clean surface really well. Once you apply the 3M VHB, the attached item isn't coming off. Amazing tape!

Very good for tough jobs, like the rubber moldings on my pickup. Grabs great (clean your mating surfaces of course) and has not degraded with time.
