Got this mask to break down a damaged fiberglass bumper and spray paint a new one. Didn't inhale any fiberglass or paint fumes. Fits well with decent comfort.

I'm giving 4 stars because a large is a bit too big on my face and had trouble wearing my glasses to work. Lightweight, fairly comfortable mask. I used it to urethane coat a wood project . I smelled absolutely nothing noxious while wearing it. The work was more pleasant to take my time and not rush because I'm suffocating and getting high on fumes. These will last me many projects even though they are diaposable. They come with a resealable bag, which is pretty cheap and tore immediately. Make sure to replace it in an airtight bag to keep the charcoal active long term.

First, you can not replace the core filters , all you can replace is the thin cover filters. People should know this because the unit is only rated for 8 to 40 hours od functionality, and that wide range of hours is based on how much toxic the environment you're working in is. When it's used up throw it out, don't replace the outer thin filters and think you're protected, the core filters will be spent and you'll be breathing toxins.If you need something stronger than a dust mask or something that filters paint fumes and your project is going to be fairly short, and you don't see yourself needing a mask like this again In the future this is a good option. Otherwise you're better off buying a respirator that has replaceable filters even though they are 2 to 3 times more expensive.

After using a paper mask to apply auto shop quality primer, I knew I had to purchase something a lot better.This respirator did the job, filtering the vapors so I could breath at ease.Fit was great plenty of adjustable straps, fit around nose/mouth was right to the tee. Breathing was great as well, no difficulty, also performed the seal test. Will be purchasing more filters for future use.Will definitely be buying one for my son, to help out in the shop.

I bought two of these respirator one medium (for the wife) and one large ( for myself), we used them while spraying closed cell foam insulation in our metal building. We didn't realize just how bad the fumes in the building were until we walked out and removed the respirators. That told me the respirators did their job ! I'm glad we made the investment.
