I used this respirator cartridge when I needed to sand down dense foam as well as dry polymer clay resin. This cartridge worked well with the 3M Half Facepiece respirator I bought. Compared to other filters I’ve tried this one worked better, felt more reliable, and had improved airflow. While I don’t use it every day, the quality definitely makes it worth the cost.

Fit perfectly for my series 3M mask, I use these when pouring epoxy and don't smell any fumes coming through. Even the No-VOC epoxy has a bad odor at times and these keep them out

No not cheap at all. However, they are the real deal - not a substandard, flimsy 'similar' filter. These are robust and inspire confidence when wearing this PPE, which allows free movement and better focus to best accomplish the task at hand. These do an amazing job of filtration with no hint of chemical smell, whereas other filter brands I have been exposed to somehow allow some background chemical smell through. These are more solid and have more filter media than the off-brands. I don't use these every day, by any means and the difference is worth the few extra bucks I incur, aggregated over a few months. This particular version is not mid-level, as it useful in a bunch of hazardous atmospheres, up to some crazy exotic chemistries that I won't be involved with. Great product. Also Great seller. No BS. Attaches so easily to the 3m mask and i truly cannot smell any of the harmful chemicals. I use these filters with my mask when cleaning around the house. Would i have preferred if they weren't so expensive and came with the purchase of the mask? Sure. But hey, it's worth it.

I bought this with a 3M full facemask resperator for painting parts of my car. When adjusted properly to an exact fit and with these filters, I had ZERO traces of paint fumes or particles. I was using an acidic self-etching primer so you cannot risk breathing it. Around $200 for mask and filters...worth every penny! Also purchased peel-away face shield protectors...a must to avoid overspray from damaging the clear shield.The best safety gear I have bought yet.
