Ok, this pen works terrific. As an online reseller, I am constantly removing price tags and marker and such from items, and this is the one item I have found that does it all. I have used Goo Gone, rubbing alcohol, dry erase markers, etc, but none are as universally effective as this pen. The only drag here is that the price is quite high for the small volume of product that is in each pen. This particular pen is hard to find elsewhere, so I pay up for it here, but if the price was more reasonable, I would order these by the dozen.

This is by far my favorite adhesive remover!!! I have tried many over the years, including Goof Off, Lift Off, Goo Gone, and nail polish remover. These products have worked for some of the label residues, etc., that I've dealt with, but I have not found any sticky substance or adhesive residue that could withstand the Scotch remover pen. It is much less stinky than the others as well. Because it is rather expensive (available only in the pen size as far as I know), I tend to use it as the final step in cleaning up an item. I will try one of the cheaper options first to get some of the gunk off, then finish with the Scotch pen. In all the times I've used it, it has damaged only one article, leaving a hazy patch on a piece of clear plastic.

I love this pen. I had one that I found in the back of a drawer at my old library branch and I have been using that one for 6 years. I process the new books that come into our library branch and that requires removing stickers from old books sometimes and this is the ONLY thing that works perfectly without a lot of mess. The biggest problem is that it's almost impossible to find to buy anywhere and for a long time amazon wouldn't even let me buy it on here because of some weird law about transporting chemicals or something ridiculous. So when I was randomly able to FINALLY purchase this I was ecstatic. Now I will say the price is kinda high but considering how useful it is (and how long my other one has lasted, at LEAST 10+ years at this point), I can live with the cost.My only gripe with this particular pen is that when I first opened it and tried to use it, I gave it a little shake and the entire felt tip fell out of the pen. Never had that happen with my old one. I was able to get it back in but now I feel like I have to handle it like a baby so it won't fall out again. Kinda weird.Anyway....I need about 10 more of these. If you have to remove stickers and hate the residue they leave behind this is the product for you.

Love, love, love this! As a book buyer, I truly hate it when the price sticker does not easily peel off of a book. This simple little product ends that nightmare! Plus, the marker lasts a long time. Totally essential if you like your books to look pristine.

Well, I'm pleasantly surprised by the effectiveness of this product. I applied the citrus smelling liquid to the adhesive on a plastic package, waited a few minutes, and scraped off the material with a fingernail.I've been using Goo Gone for years, with mixed results -- usually ending up with me using a knife to scrape off adhesive. This has a very pleasant smell to it and applies easily with the applicator tip.

Used to remove gunk left from removing old shower door seal. After I peeled away old vinyl edge seal from my shower, there was some glue that remained on the door. I used this product to remove remaining bits of adhesive. The pen tip came out once while applying, but just slipped it back in and continued on. Worked very well.
