The Scotch-Brite 6-by-9-inch heavy duty hand pad is excellent for heavy cleaning, deburring, and finishing. It cuts fast and leaves a more consistent finish than other abrasives. Tight and dense, this tan pad has an aggressive and durable web. The abrasive mineral is medium grade aluminum oxide. The hand pad can be used by hand, with a hand pad block or on an in-line sander. These were advertised as a series of pads with a range of textures, but the package only contained one type. Thus, they were effectively useless to me, as I needed all types.

Not a standard pack like I've been use to, I received only 10 pads in a plastic bag. I double check and there is nothing about it in the description.. Take that into consideration.
