I bought this product to make the door entries for our new car. The first one looked kind of bad so I am glad I had enough to do it over again. I would say to not skip the prep and make sure you have plenty of slip solution and it will go on without any issue. Oh, and round off the corners so it will be less likely to peel away.

Used this for bumper paint protection on a couple ford focus hb's. Works perfectly and installs easily using homemade soap solution. Way cheaper than the sub par ford protector

To begin with, this 3M product is good but it's cut from a larger width roll which is okay if done right. Looks like a hack saw made the cut down to 4 inches. Both sides ! One must trim about 1/8-3/16" off either side which reduces the 4" roll by nearly a half inch.Suggestion to the supplier : whatever the width the customer orders, add 1/2" !

This is the second time I have bought this product and both times the PPP strip was cut using a dull blade in their cutter. It leaves a slightly jagged edge on the material that is more visible and rough feeling than when cut with a sharp blade. I will buy this locally from now on.
