3M has hit one out of the park with the cubitron series. Very effective and long lasting, the only reason not buy this is if you love sanding

Much thinner backing material than I expected. I used one pad one time and I'm not sure it will work anywhere near as well the second time. It seems to have lost much of its grit feel but we'll see. I saw it on a video, used as a sharpening system for tools. Not sure it will be cost effective or long lasting. Again we'll see

I’m not sure if I ordered the incorrect item or if there is a design flaw. I put it on my orbital sander and that lasted for about 20 seconds before coming off. I wanted to see how well it worked so I folder on in half and wow. This paper cuts like no other. It doesn’t get dirty nearly is quickly as most paper. I have a ton of 3m paper I could of used but went with the folded disc instead because it truly is that much better. Btw. I’m sanding door fronts I just made.

When it arrived, I noticed it doesn't have holes nor velcro on the back (the back has a sticky adhesive under a peel-off sheet.) But that's my bad, Cubitron sandpaper is great overall, works really well, it's the one I reach for, and I was able to make use of these nonetheless. I plan on setting up a little rough-sharpening station by sticking some of these onto a sheet of glass.It's a solid product, worth spending a little extra for quality sandpaper - it lasts longer and works faster.

The discs were partly discolored. Damaged by moisture? They wore out very fast. Tried sharpening a chisel, but the disc were done way before the chisel was. Can't recommend.

These discs are great. I use them by hand and the last for ages. I took the laquer of a jumbo guitar top with one disk 320 grit. That to me is a good job done. Now just need more guitars.
