The acrylic foam tape has been durably manufactured and is the ideal replacement for rivets, spot welds, screws, and liquid adhesives. Double-sided adhesive tape can be suitably used for bonding a broad variety of substrates like aluminum, stainless steel, galvanized steel, composites, acrylic, polycarbonate, ABS, painted or sealed wood, etc. Use the acrylic adhesive to attach steel stiffeners to metal panels for doors and for cabinet or sign assembly.

I bought some LED strips a while back and when I went to use them, I found that the factory pre-applied adhesive tape was useless, so I thought I would try this. It really worked out great! it's very sticky and was easy to use. It was exactly the right width for my LEDs and so far it is holding very well. I used some to hold some LEDs under my CNC router dust collector hood, and then more to hold some LEDs under a cabinet I made, and I had just barely enough to complete. I'm going to buy more and keep it on hand as it's way better that the adhesive that comes on the LED strips that I already have.

I like the stickiness and it works. But be careful to lay it down right the first time to maximize the adherence.

This tape is very adhesive and it's double-sided and it worked really good for sticking Christmas lights up on to stucco

This 4991 tape is double the thickness of normal vhb tape....it's about 2.25mm thick. It's very sturdy and firm, with very little compression. Great alternative if you have an application where the normal stuff just isn't quite thick enough.

Never disappointed with 3M and this stuff is used so many more times than I would have ever guessed. Put few sizes in your toolbox and get the adhesive enhancer for tough jobs.

I love this tape and use it for everything. Very strong and sticks to most materials.
