I am going to be the oddball here and talk about using a metal reamer in wood. As a hobby wood turner, I needed to ream some holes in an instrument I am making using Katalox, which is an incredibly dense wood. I had broken several drill bits and one of my wood reamers trying this when someone suggested trying a reamer for mild steel. I found this one which was just about the perfect size for the project, which consisted of reaming 8 positions. This made nice clean work of it, had no chattering and really impressed me. With this I will certainly be able to do some nicer projects using those woods typically to dense for some projects.

Decent quality reamer, got the job done on some plastic parts and seems the same as every other generic import reamer I have used.

It's a reamer and it works! size is spot on at 3mm. It feels well made and I haven't worried about any of the flutes snapping or chipping. Good reamer.

I recently acquired this 4mm chucking reamer for precision metalworking tasks. The tool appears to be well-made and aligns with the product specifications. The tungsten carbide construction and straight flute design suggest it will perform effectively for reaming stainless steel, alloy, and copper metals. At this stage, I have no concerns or notable praises; it seems to be a solid addition to my toolkit.

I use chucking reamers to make holes smooth in my projects. These are shorter than the usual ones I get, which I like since I'm working on a smaller scale. Precision of machining is spot on.

Used this on mild steel in a precision keyless chuck. Measured a little over .138" while it should be a little under. I wonder if it would have been tighter if I had used a 3.5mm collet. I rolled it across my surface plate and see no discernible belly in it.

This is a small reamer that I use to clean up holes for positioning pins. It leaves a clean surface that is on the mark dimensionally. I have only used it a few times so far so I cant speak to durability but it looks like it will do well. Nice addition to the reamers I use with my lathe and mills.

This reamer is what it says and cuts nicely and smoothly. The finish is very good on the item cut and it has the right amount of clearance. I did not experience any chatter while using it. Works well and i expect yrs of service from it.
