These are perfect for the bathroom and work well. The sensor will open the lid for a long enough time that you can easily throw items into it. It is small enough to sit right beside the toilet or near a counter and not be too conspicuous or bothersome. Battery life also seems to be good. I got the three-pack deal and loved the price too.

These small, self-opening trash cans are great for having a wastebasket/trash can discreetly available in any room: bathroom, bedroom, even living room -- because of their size and available colors. Since they remain closed until self-opening when there's a movement near the top, they look SO much better than an open basket and are much more convenient than a can with a removable lid. Great buy!

Been 3 months and all 3 still functioning on first set of batteries. They each get used several times daily. Wish they had a bigger /taller version my little dog can’t open 🤣

Get what you pay for. Out of three, only one works. One has a broken lid, the other doesn’t come on with a wave. You have to push the button to open and then push it to close. Would recommend

Work as intended! The lid opens and close quickly and there is almost no lag to open when the sensor sense it?! (If that makes any sense!). It is easy to clean, the material is not less better than any other garbage bin to be honest and the peoduct is sturdy. It looks good, easy to use and the price is good for a pack of 3I give this product a 5 stars for its overall quality.

UPDATE: Turns out the batteries I bought recently were expired (thanks big box store who shall remain nameless). Inserted brand new batteries and the garbage cans work like a charm! I know they’ll work to keep our 8-month old puppy out of them because she jumps like a cat when she walks past it in the bathrooms.Turns out these are an excellent product, works well and the hands-free is extremely responsive. Highly recommend.I bought these because our golden retriever puppy like to pull tissues and empty toilet paper rolls out of the garbage. Put the batteries in and nothing. Flashing red light in all lids. Not sure what I’m doing wrong

Terrible. Only 1 worked properly, the other 2 the lid stayed open and would not close automatically. Changed batteries, didn’t make any difference. Don’t waste your money on these.

Hit and miss - they’re very sensitive to vibrations and will open on its own. One of them randomly opens on its own even with no interaction. No instructions on adjusting sensitivity, if it’s even possible. My purpose in buying these was to keep trash away from the dogs and be able to leave bathroom doors open. However, I fear that if they simply nudge the trash bin with their noses or stick their snouts above the sensor, they’ll inadvertently be successful in accessing the trash. That said, you get what you pay for. Were it not for this issue of sensitivity with no way to adjust it, it is overall a good purchase.
