My seven year old son LOVES signs. Like - "asks Santa for road signs instead of toys" - loves signs. I don't get it, but it's his jam. Recently he asked me for a plug-in exit sign for his room. I said no for several reasons:1) Those need AC Power and I'm not about to pay an electrician to run a line above my ceiling,2) They're expensive,3) It would look ridiculous in my home, and4) My wife would kill me.Notice I didn't say that I didn't consider it but felt an alternative would be a better choice. I came across this item which promised not only solid luminescence for an affordable price AND came with five in case I somehow screwed up the installation."Installation" isn't really the right word for this product. Remove some paper from the back and slap it on wall is the more technical description of the process. If you're feeling particularly adventurous, slap some arrow stickers on it too for better direction to an exit. My installation was not this nuanced. My son wanted a light up sign above or on the inside of his bedroom door. We talked about it and decided it would get more light for "charging" if we placed it on the door rather than above the door, so that's what we went with.Installation took about 15 seconds. It was like 3 seconds of peeling and placing the sign, 5 seconds of me eye-balling the sign to make sure it was level, deciding it wasn't, 3 seconds of peeling it off (it didn't damage somewhat recently painted interior doors!), and 3 more seconds of replacing it actually level. Adding these up, I'm realizing my estimate of 15 seconds didn't check out with the math. It was actually a 14 second installation.After installing came the fun part of testing. As you can see in my pictures, the sign during the day is clear, visible, and pretty much what you'd look for to exit a building (or a seven year old's bedroom). Charged with a bright flashlight or sunlight, the sign is remarkably luminescent. It's arguably more noticeable charged with light at night because it glows so brightly.I'd recommend this product for someone who needs simple-to-install, visible, and affordable exit signs. All kidding aside, my son loves the sign and I have four backups in case we ever need help out of other rooms in our home.

We got these to use these in our office - I was a little worried about whether they would stick for more than a few days, for whatever reason the walls at our new building don't hold adhesives well. Even things like command strips and alien tape that worked well in several other locations don't stick for us here.Surprisingly, all of these have stuck well without any additional adhesives or modifications! They have been up for over a week now, none have fallen off and there is no sign of peeling either. You can't tell from the picture but the arrows and the word "exit" glow in the dark, just as described. $20 is a great price for 5 signs and 10 arrows as well. Definitely recommend, especially if you need something with strong adhesion.
