I have a problem in my life. I lose rubber mallets. Whenever I need one, I can never find one. Whenever I find one, I try to set it aside somewhere where I'll remember, then when the time comes, it's gone. My house is like a black hole for rubber mallets. Now I have this awesome 3-pack, which gives me 3x the chances to lose them. These are nice mallets in well-thought-out sizes. I like the set. They're well-made, and they work great for banging against things.

I started a sidewalk paver project a couple of months ago.For the first part of the project, I used my old wood handled rubber mallet. The old mallet worked ok, but the wooden handle seemed to have excessive flex while setting the pavers in place.I finished up using one of these mallets (24 ounce) and it worked great. This is a better quality tool than my old mallet ever was.

I bought the set of three almost exactly one year ago and today the handle of the heavy mallet split and head fell off. I gave it a pretty good going over but maybe the plastic is just too thin. I'm going to try a different brand.

One broke the first day I used it. It was on an easy stone job and the head just popped off and was snapped inside. Don't waste your money on these

1st day used, the head came off one of them . Not heavy duty. Maybe ok for gentle tapping.
