Like some other user reported, those sponges tend to arrives crushed and/or deformed. Don't panic though, because there is a way to return them back to their pristine original shape.Just get a small bucket with hot water, and submerge those sponges in it for a few minutes, while squeezing them gently. They will get back to their original shape right away. Then, after squeezing the water out, just let them dry and voilà , problem solved!One less start though because the softer sponge that is connected to the "handle" sponge part, tend to UN-stick itself, even right before using those sponges. Had to get some special Gorilla glue for foam, to glue those pad back to their base. Not a super big deal, but definitely something you want to keep in mind though.

I bought this item because I like using this type of foam applicator for dressing my tires. The puck style grip is comfortable. It is a bit smaller than my existing one but is similar. The three-pack should last me a long time.

These applicators are cheap for a reason. First, they are packed into a bag that is way too small; one of the applicators is extremely deformed and barely useable; a second applicator is quite deformed, but should be okay; only one of the applicators is properly shaped.... and the shape of each pad did not change much after sitting outside of the main bag. Also, the face of each pad does NOT have the amount of contours as shown on Amazon's site. The only positive is that a set of three pads was low at $9.99 total.

Fits in hand nicely. Holds liquid nicely without pouring too much. If it had a cover would be nice.
