As a band teacher, I require my woodwind players to swab out their instruments at the end of class each day. Because a lot of my students use school-owned instruments, this gets even more important to help them last as long as possible, so I try to provide the swabs to make sure there's no excuses.These dropped in well through the full bore of the clarinet (mouthpiece removed). They are just the right size to fill the bore (wiping the full inside bore) in one swipe without getting stuck. And, 3 of these are the same price as one from the local music store (I am a big supporter of our local music store, but they are incredibly overpriced for swabs!).

Bought this for my son to replace a damaged cloth. His feedback was that the string cord is not as long (as the one it replaced) and therefore it is harder to clean with it.

These are fine, they come in a pack of three, which is nice, although they FEEL a little more polyester than I’m used to swabs feeling. They are fine for my flute, clarinets, and soprano sax. however.
