This string mute is well made and easy to install and remove as needed. Works perfectly and gives me the desired muted tone when playing the Bass guitar. It's a good choice and affordable too. Certainly, a better look than the sponge.

I bought a set to try them out and am glad I did. They are a great value when compared to the name brand options. No negatives on this purchase! These fit all my 6-string guitars and even my 7-string comfortably. They go on quickly, velcro securely in place and do their job well. I will be ordering a couple more sets for sure!

I bought a name brand (with a checkmark logo) and that was garbage - the padding was all scrunched up in the middle like a pillow; I couldn't even it out. These on the other hand, are perfect, cheaper and you get three for the price of the name brand one AND there's no logo - so you're not giving a brand name junk mute free publicity.

I tried these on a whim and actually think the design is way better than the well-known alternative. Not as bulky, and even fits my 8 string. Highly recommend.

It's just a velcro band with a piece of fabric to mute the strings. This is more reasonably priced than most brands and does the same job.

I have a home studio and I’m not a great bass player. It’s always better to play fretted notes rather than open strings, but often when I fret notes adjacent open strings will discordantly. This thing, wrapped around the neck just below the nut, takes care of that perfectly. I also use it occasionally on an electric guitars when I’m playing a solo with no open strings. Really does the trick.
