These are really handy for insulating copper water lines. The different sizes are convenient for the multiple size pipes that are typical for hot water supply.

These worked great for insulating my water pipes. The 45 deg angle and the center triangle were very helpful. Not sure if you really need a guide for a straight cut. This plus an insulation knife made the job go quick and look great. 3 sizes helped for a tight fit in the template tool

Built a house and wanted to insulate the water pipes. Started the job without these. It was horrible, bought these and continued and completed phase 1 in no time.

It's 3D printed. Only reason this is an issue is because the inside, where the foam would go to make the cuts, has rough sharp edges, it's extremely tight to slide the foam in, and when you pull the foam out, it rips and tears the foam, so much effort is needed to slide over and then slide off the foam, takes a slow slow pace to slide off without tearing and ruining the foam you just cut. I'd recommend finding a plastic molded one, maybe that will fit better and not ruin your finished product.
