It was a bit pricey for the size, but it looks great. i liked how easy it was to put the hanger in. The hanger just needs to be hammered in to the frame. (no nails necessary). I wish all my previous frames had that kind of hanger. I used the frame for a small rug I made. It looks so nice. I don't know why I didn't think of framing it sooner.

My initial purchase here was for the 12"x16"x1" frame. It was clearly stated "The INSIDE Dimensions were 12" x 16". This made sense b/c the Stated Outer Dimensions were larger numbers. My intended purpose for this/these Enclosed Frame(s) is to Encase my Canvas Paintings in a Fully-Closed Frame with a Clear Front. These Frames 'Fit The Bill' 100% of that requirement. (I do not consider these anything close to the slur "Shadow Boxes" b/c these are "Fully Enclosed". (Thank You! )However, upon receiving my 12"x16" Frame, I immediately discovered that my 12"x16" Canvas Painting could NOT Fit inside. The Reason was Obvious: The Mfg had installed a Perimeter of a Super-Stick sandwich of 'Paper-Foam-Paper around the Interior. This made the resultant "Usable Interior Dimensions" closer to 11-1/2" x 15-1/2".This 'Ring' of Paper&Foam was very difficult to 'Cut & Gut OUT' from the inside of my new Frame; even when using my trusty knife. After finally getting all of that Fluff "Ripped Out", Then I tried to Fit my Canvas again. This time it FIT. However 'the Fit' was very much the "Shoe-Spoon" type of Fit. NOTE to Those intending to Frame their Canvas: If your Canvas Painting doesn't seem to 'Fit' (going into this Frame), then Rotate either the Canvas or the Frame and try again; it may be a bit of a snug fit even after you've removed that Paper-Foam Sandwich. The Frame and All of it's Parts (Especially The Corners) were Clean, Crisp, and Sharp. The Glass Panel is Not the Heavy Hardened Glass type. Instead it is one of these newfangled Hi-Tech Ultra-Thin, Ultra-Clear, Acrylic or Polycarbonate types, which should workout very nicely. Just by looking at it, you'd swear it was Real Glass. All in all: 'Very Nice Job' - Sorta-like the 'Timeless Plain Elegance' of a Black Tux.If this type of Frame has any short-comings - it would be one of those Personal Preference Things. I would like to see them further-develop this Frame with a better means of 'Hanging', instead of the "Included little Sawtooth Hanger". I dislike those very much b/c in order to 'Hide' your Wall Hanger, you MUST use a Single Nail in the Wall. And I really Hate that. In any case, with this type of Hanger, the Frame will NEVER be able to "Fit-Flush" against the Wall. (and most likely it will constantly be Cocking or Rocking one way or the other). (And then finally,,, the 'Single Nail Hanger' will inevitably work-loose, and Everything will come "Crashing Down").To the Mfg: You're producing a Terrific Product here. "Work on these Finer Points to make'em even Better".

I used this as an open shadow box of sorts so I chucked the clear plastic on the front. I found that part to be flimsy and very reflective. The frame itself seems decent and worked for my needs.

I purchased this with the intent of completing a shadow box craft project using a Scrabble board and some of its letters. The antique Scrabble board measured a little OVER 14" x 14 1/8". I didn't take into account the board folds and therefore had a little squishing room. Luckily, the board fit PERFECTLY, though I couldn't use the backer and had to put it in the frame without the backer. Not a biggie. The board is flush with the frame on the back, the metal clips on the back hold the board perfectly in place and the frame looks like it was made for exactly what I was doing. I'm VERY happy with the purchase and so glad it worked exactly as I needed it too. The frame appears to be wood, black in color and excellent shape when it arrived.

I purposely don’t get the cheapest frames, I pay more expecting higher quality. I definitely could have found cheaper frames than this one, but I wanted a nice product. These are not it. Every corner is chipped up and doesn’t fit together well. Front is also scuffed and scratched. Don’t buy.

I couldn't have expected a more perfect solution for displaying a cherished collector's item like the drumhead I have, signed by Danny Carey from TOOL.This 15"x15" frame is a perfect fit from every possible aspect to the 14" drumhead - width/height/depth, everything!Do mind that you need to connect the saw-tooth hanger yourself (I actually prefer doing it myself since my precision is almost always better than the factory-ones I've gotten before).I measured it carefully and pre-drilled maybe 1-1.5mm depth micro-holes, only to guide the hanger - and then used a hammer to drive the hanger inside, while the frame laid wrapped safely and completely flat on a cardboard.Easy-peasy.The frame itself is very high quality, the wood is painted really well, but it is not cheap. However, if you look for drumhead frames produced specifically for this purpose, you'll find them at triple the price.I love the end result, which is amazing.

As advertised but made of light, cheap materials. I couldn't find any other A3 frame under $300 but I am very disappointed by the cheap quality of the frame overall. It's like *cringe* nasty cheap. It doesn't look like it should have cost me over a hundred dollars, but it did.Next time I will take my artwork to a local framer.

Thin cardboard backing came pushed/bent inwards in a couple of areas. Makes it look messy....for this amount being paid for it, would expect better quality.

Frame was shipped in a paper envelope with very little bubble wrap, plexiglass has a crack in it. For the cost of this item, it should've been shipped in way better packaging. Had to return. Very disappointed!
