Reasonable Design
Cold air intakes are designed to flow more efficiently than your car's from-the-factory, traditional airflow assembly. Stock tubes are often small and restricted; an aftermarket intake has larger diameter, smooth tubes to encourage stronger airflow. That doesn't mean that factory-installed systems are completely useless -- all that "extra" filtration is designed to help your car stay clean under all circumstances. But if you want extra power, you have to be willing to compromise a little in the hopes of attaining optimal conditions instead of average conditions

When dieting came it came with the big box and the instructions for easy to read they have pictures how to install it which was good to know

I installed this on my Chevy Silverado and it looks amazing! I can tell some improvement in performance, but that doesn't even matter. Pop the hood and be dazzled! A very affordable mod for your vehicle. Worth the money.

Fit perfectly on my 06 Avalanche. I did not have modify anything. Was very easy to install. Only down fall is the cheap clamps, and why only 4 stars. glad I had some I could use. Now just have to hope the filter is actually cleanable when the time comes. Time will tell how well it is built and if it will last.

This cold air induction system gives my motor a lot more power the only thing is that you may have a problem with the check engine lights for the first little while because on mine it has a mass airflow sensor and it was getting so much more air it thought it was a problem but after it was on the truck for a few days it got used to it things were ok

Cold air intake. Extremely low quality. The “rubber†boot material is very hard and not very pliable. Not sure what is made of exactly, but very low quality I doubt it would last kind. The air filter is also junk. Clamps break easily. The only part I might use is the steel tube. This seems decent.

If you have a picture and a little aptitude, this is an easy install. I can't find any reason to buy the 250$$+ units when these are here. if you want, buy the kit, buy the expensive filter cone separately and you're still ahead. I won't claim more power... but... It feels like my throttle response was improved. I am happy with this purchase. I did have to use one of the original clamps and rubber 'grommet' at the MAS air flow device, but that as easy.

The filter base is hard plastic, the adapter is also hard plastic, it does not make a mechanical connection with a hose type clamp to the supplied adapter possible. The filter will continuously fall off unless it is glued to the adapter which makes filter replacement not practical unless you can source a new adapter for the new filter. Does it work, yes, does it work well as designed, no. Needs backyard engineering to be secure and replacable.
