The corner braces were probably 20 years old.... and they were cracking. One of them finally let loose and caused the gate to sag and the whole gate was flopping around when I tried to close it.Couldn't find anything local.... took some measurements and ordered these. They fit perfectly. I chose to drill a couple holes to keep them attached.... just like the old ones... These feel sturdy and the metal wan't paper thin... I think these might be a little better than the originals.

Now I need to find appropriate self tapping screws. There should be a suggestion to buy all three items together. Like self tapping (same metal?) screws to properly fit the indented holes. ðŸ˜Any one have a link? For context, I’m replacing two broken corners from the gate dragging the ground when pulling it open. Too much racking strain. I’ll fix that when I reinstall them. I see others not using screws, but mine are all fastened with 4 ea. per assembly.

These are heavy duty and match my old gate hardware exactly. Buy these instead of the cheap elbows from the big box home improvement store

I used these to reconstruct a chain link gate that had been backed into. 4 pieces of top rail and these corners took care of it. You must drill the holes for the 4 screws necessary to hold the corner pieces on. There were no screws included in my package. I would have given this product a 4 star except for missing pieces.
