I got these so my 5 pound puppy would stop getting into the trash. He quickly learned he could just knock it over and the lid would fall off. Work fine otherwise, just not at all dog proof.

We have a tight little space in our bathroom for a trash can to go. But this one fits perfectly. It has just enough space for what I would expect out of a bathroom trash can. It's easy to use, easy to change a liner in, and easy to clean if you need to. Win win.

I had a very expensive (for a trashcan) and HEAVY trashcan from Bed Bath and Beyond, back when they were still around. It was a ceramic (maybe acrylic?) trashcan. Why?? I have no idea. But one time when I moved, the movers were packing and asked me "Where do you want this vase?" Lol.So why am I telling you about my OLD trashcan? For perspective. Just so you know what I am comparing this flip top garbage can to. It does the job, keeping my dog out of the trash. She used to love grabbing tissues from the trash and chewing them up all over the house. That's why I tried this one. It 100% works for that purpose. It's only that it's very thin, kind of cheap feeling soft plastic. But maybe that's fine for a trashcan. Maybe you don't need your bathroom trashcan to weight 10 pounds like my old one. Anyway, I like it.... but I guess my dog probably doesn't!

no too much to write home about but it is a perfect little trash can for my office and it keeps the cat out, which is very useful
