These singing bowls are amazing, and at a great price. They're very well made out of thick brass, and have a great sound. Here comes in the box with everything you need. There is the bowl itself, a cushion, and the mallet. It is very functional, but also looks great while sitting on the shelf. There are various ways to use, and play them. From Simply tapping the mallet near the rim, to rubbing the rim around the perimeter of the bowl. It makes a sound kind of like a bell, and you can keep it going forever by rubbing the Mallet around the rim. This takes very little practice, and you can Amaze yourself with the sounds coming out of this thing. The sounds are amazing and very calming, I see why it is a great tool for meditation. Overall, it is a very cool product, easy to use, and sounds great. Highly recommended.

As a beautiful brass bowl, this product is wonderful. The bowl is heavy and nicely made. The stand that comes with it is cheap and does not look at all like the picture -- it's simply yellow ribbon wrapped around some foam and it doesn't hold it's shape. The craftsmanship of the mallet is also terrible -- it looks like it was quickly dipped in stain and then laid down to dry. All of the stain went to the bottom half of the stick and the top is nearly natural color wood. It's all unevenly dyed and does not display well. I was really excited about this product until I saw it in person!

Can't expect too much of a bowl in this price range and its size. But hey, you can get it to sing and it works nice for meditation and such. My friend was using it for journeying and it was a lovely part of it.

This is a very nice and handy mediation bowl that is good for travel or to keep by your desk to take a moment to mediate. The sound is good and the mallet is a nice simple size.

Tibetan Singing Bowl Set - 4†inches Sound Bowl Meditation Set - Meditation Bowl with Random Cushion and Mallet - Christmas Gifts.I am very disappointed in this singing bowl set. Apparently "random cushion and mallet" means "cheap styrofoam ring wrapped in cheap ribbon with badly finished unstained wood stick." I specifically chose this set because of the dark stained mallet and nice looking cushion. I would have been happy with another design or color of silk cushion. I am not happy with ultra-cheap yellow ribbon wrapped around a styrofoam ring that is so cheap that it cannot keep its ring shape. If I could I would return this.
