Updated: nov 18, 24Still amazing. The oil absorbers are nice too. I use this vacuum every 3 days to keep my hot tub clean. It continues to impress. I also clean our cold plunge with it as well. I haven't had to charge it since the initial charge and like I said, I use it for about 10 mins every 3 days.So, I've used it once and boy did it do an amazing job. I'm so pleased. Easy to set up comes with more attachments than I need. The sleeves clean up nicely and are reusable, plus they come with extra.Cleans my spa really nice. And clearly you can see how much algae it needed to get and it did great. I read about so many vacuums that don't work on algae. I had an outbreak due to low bromine levels and I didn't want to replace the water. After shocking it and using a clarifier and scrubbing the sides of the spa, all the algae floated to the bottom and i was able to easily suck it up.It's light weight and easy to use.I can't be more pleased since I'm new at maintenance for hot tubs...having this really helps.

I am using this vacuum for a hot tub, so cannot vouch for pool performance, but it is absolutely wonderful for the hot tub and exactly what I needed. It was very easy to put together and charged quickly. I used it today and it worked great. You don't have to move it around a lot, just put it near where the debris is and it will suck it up. Took me no time at all to clean the bottom of the hot tub. I also cannot vouch for long term performance since I just got it, but so far I am extremely happy with the assembly, the performance and the price. Oh, and it comes with three different attachments and some floating sponges that soak up oils and scum.

Update- I used this product once before submitting the original review and a 2nd time during which it also did great. Went back to use it today and it wouldn't turn on: just made a clicking sound. Given the size of our hot tub, this thing had only run for maybe 20 mins total so I didn't think the battery should be dead but started there. Gave it a full recharge and still just clicking. Followed the few troubleshooting tips from the manufacturer and the ones from Amazon and then contacted Customer Service. They offered to send a replacement but wouldn't extend the return period- Sure, so I can end up with two broken units in less than a month and no recourse: no thanks! Asked for a refund and decided to share my experience here so others don't trust this unreliable product.Original- I've only had this for about a week and only used it once so far, but it made a great first impression and exceeded my initial expectations. Package arrived on time and the vacuum was easy to assemble. I took it straight to the hot tub and tried it out and found that it was easily pulling sand and leaf chunks from the bottom. I was using the full wand so did find that it was harder to use on the steps because the impeller has to be underwater for there to be suction. There's a shorter end attachment that will likely fix this but both twist into place and will be difficult to swap out while they're wet. Still, this seems to do everything that the seller said it could and the extras (skimmer, extension wand, oil-catching sponges) were all nice to have as well.

Purchased for my 5’ deep swim spa. Pole is nice and long (6’) and easily comes apart for storage. Has a gentle suction so you have to be right on top of the dirt. The head does not pivot on the pole so you have to be directly perpendicular not reaching out at an angle for best results. My spa is 8’ wide so this barely works.The manual poorly written (non-native english) and is all just about assembly and safety, never actually explains the different attachments - I had to go back to the amazon product listing photos to even know how to use. There are still some things I’m not sure of.This charges by usb cable that plugs right into unit - there is no dock or charging base. The it is cordless like a stick vac in the water.The instructions say you should not be in the water with the vacuum but I get in and it has been fine.Given the quality of the plastic materials I feel this is a little overpriced (50-80 seems more appropriate) but it has been working and doing its job.

Within 15 minutes of opening the package this unit was cleaning my 6 x 6 hot tub without initial charging. Using two of the three attachments the tub was immaculate in less than 20 minutes. Filters cleaned up easily with a rinse. I then took it inside to charge and it was fully charged in about 90 minutes. Will be very useful in maintaining my hot tub.

I'm using it to periodically clean a 200 gallon outdoor cold plunge tub. Picks up debris from the bottom as long as I go slow. It does work, but not that strong. Any larger pool or spa would tae. long time to clean with this.Build quality is decent, power is disappointing. I kept it because my tub is small and this unit is adequate. Wish it had more power (like double).In my case it was not worth searching/paying more for another product that might only have slightly more power.I'm the type that "rounds up" on rating, leaning toward 5 stars. Sorry I just could not give this 4 stars.

This is a fantastic underwater vacuum. It is powerful, quiet, lightweight, holds a good charge and separates easily for storage. Perfect for getting the grit sand and dirt off the bottom of my spa. Customer service is fantastic too if you have any questions about the product. Highly recommend.
