I use them on all my welding/work tables and everything else that are heavy and have legs. The wheels rolls smoothly and able to run over cracks or small bumps. Perfect for my shop.I have been using these for a while, the orange rubber part is holding up amazingly. No cracks or chip.

Used them to replace casters on a transmission lift. Made getting the transmission into the right position. Large enough to overcome some dirt on the floor of my shop. Would recommend highly.

These wheels are indeed as advertised. I have hundreds of pounds of books on them and when moving on carpet, my old casters broker. As it turns out, the axle for the failed ones are made of plastic. These casters are fantastic and I ordered extra sets.

Some reviewers showed that the wheels failed under loads which were well under the stated capacity. I knew that my grinder stand would not get close to being too heavy so I decided to try this wheel set based on the fact that they had one of the highest ratings. So far, the wheels were easy to install, roll very nicely on concrete, and the locking mechanism works easily; both in locking and unlocking. Gave only four stars for the following reasons: 1. Came with no lock washers. (I'll have to purchase my own.) 2. Washers that were included are small, thin, and not high quality. (I'll have to purchase better quality ones.) 3. All of the included hardware was out of its packaging and rolling around in the box. Luckily, everything was still there.

They work great. Used them on my adjustable height Husky work table so that it wouldn’t shift back and forth. They hold the table in place even when racking on my projects and they lock the swivels so it stays put.

The first 3 castors (5/16 18) screwed into the feet with ease. The 4th castor would not screw in. The included nut also could not be screwed on. I needed to move the unit and I thought maybe the initial threads had been damaged, so I tried to retap the threads with a 5/16 18 die. This was difficult as it is really hard to grip the castor nut for leverage. I soon realized the entire threads were wrong. I continued to tap the threads all the way to the bottom. It was extremely difficult and my hand slipped once and punctured a hole in my thumb. Once finished, I was able to screw the 4th castor into the foot. Terrible experience.

The wheels have a very firm rubber feel to them and as a result they glide smoothly over tile, hardwood and even carpeted floors.The brakes work well and engage by pressing down on the pedal above the wheels so locking them in place is easy and effective.I’ve installed them on my portable washing machine and moving the machine from room to room is easier now since the wheels initially installed on the washer were cheap plastic and only 1 inch in size.

Bolt on center stem is higher than the face plate so washers are needed to raise the face plate off the bolt.
