These are sturdy casters that even come with mounting hardware. The wood screws are short, so you may need to get larger ones if you intend to mount them that way. I made two very sturdy 4’ x 4’ flat carts with these and some 2x6 lumber. They are used to move large 1,000 pound hay rolls around in my feed storage shipping container. They work perfectly!

I've used these for workshop tables and some heavy equipment. Worked great for both. Nice smooth motion, and the wheel tread material is soft enough for use on hardwood floors, and durable enough for use on smooth concrete.

Slightly bigger than the charts suggest but not a deal breaker. I built a rolling bench to put them on and they hold up to the weight well. They roll smoothly on concrete and even handle some gravel. The lock is very easy to use. Over all would recommend.

Picking up a lot of pressure treated decking material off of a social media site, I decided to fulfill a lifelong dream of having a DIY workbench in the garage. I installed these caster wheels on the bottom, so it could be moved around where it was needed. The wheels install easily, are built of a reasonably solid material. You would not want to use these for a really heavy industrial application, but you should have already known that. For my purpose, they are great. The wheel locks engage and disengage easily and firmly hold. They even come with two sets of hardware in case you want to use bolts or screws to attach them. Would buy again.

I bought these wheels to be able to have 4 way casters on my tool cabinet (it came with 2 fixed wheels and 2 caster wheels). I bought smaller wheels than the unit came with, but these were rated for enough weight so I went with them. The hole pattern for mounting seems to be standard as everything fit perfectly. Super easy to install. Came with both bolts (which I used with the tool cabinet), and screws for wood.All in all very happy with my purchase and now I can move my tool cabinet around much more easily.

I recently needed to move my large, heavily loaded workbench to make room for a work crew to remove our old oil furnace and oil tank to put in a new electrical boiler. I had to remove most of the heavy wood planks and power tools on the bench and then put on a set of 440 lb casters. While this was sufficient to move the workbench for the men to do the work, I realized I liked being able to move the workbench on casters so I bought a set of these 1 Ton casters and replaced the small ones with them. They work great and hold the whole load while permitting shifting the entire load when necessary.
