Lost my old set to a friend who "borrowed" them. This new set might be better! Super heavy, well machined, and easy-turning mechanism. Just the right size jaw for my projects. Their center of gravity is ideal for hanging from a pegboard hook or bench magnet. Paint doesn't flake off. The pad at the end of the screw is on the typical ball joint to accommodate slightly off-plane surfaces. So far, rust resistant! I recently used one to compress the cylinder of a small auto brake caliber without a single problem. Might buy more!

The lower threaded eyelets are theaded poorly and 2 of my 4 are misaligned. They look like they were fabricated by beginners...child beginners!
