It's a nice intake kit for my 5.9 common rail. I had to fight every single clamp but it's a budget intake, what do you expect

Wanted an intake for my work truck. Didn't want to spend $300+ on a brand name. Took me about 20-30 minutes. Put the shield together first makes it much easier to install. Turbo is much louder. Spools quicker and lower IAT. Quality could be better. But for $80 I'm happy

I bought this from the Amazon Warehouse. All pieces were in their original bags. No instructions were included.I'd not recommend this kit for these reasons:1. The metal pipe had metal debris in it. Many small pieces. One large piece that was the disk removed for the air cleaner replacement indicator hole. This piece, should it come loose, which it certainly would, would damage the turbo. The many small metal shards might also damage it.2. Fitment was an issue. I'd guess the hole in the cold air intake box for the metal pipe was in the wrong place.3. One of the band clamps, which uses a bolt to tighten, stripped making it completely unusable.4. Because of these issues what should have been, at most, an hour job took around 3 hours. Most of that time fighting to get the metal pipe to connect to the air cleaner. In my opinion, not worth the money saved vs kits.

Fit and function are perfect for my 04 Ram 2500. Best of all it is a fraction of the price of the usual competitors.

Heat shield had flaked paint and scratches. One was so old the metal had rusted. It didn’t matter because the heat shield wouldn’t line up with the piping no matter what I did. So I ripped it out and am just not going to use it. So everything else worked great, lined up and the turbo is singing now!!! Intake and silencer ring removed sounds great! Turns heads that’s for sure!

I bought this cold air intake for my 2005 Dodge Ram 2500 with the 5.9 Cummins, upon arrival nothing was damaged which was excellent. The install was a bit of a pain, mainly getting the heat shield to fit right I had to do some forcing in some spots to get it to fit. After the install and test drive I noticed a huge increase in turbo sound even just at idle, a small increase in horsepower and good air temps. All around I think the truck is happier over the stock air box. Overall for a 70 dollar cold air intake for a diesel truck it’s the best bang for the buck. I’ve had the new intake on for a month with no issues. I do plan to upgrade to S&B but just got this one for now cause I’m on a budget.

This seems to work fine do far, it was a bit hard to install since the pipe seems a bit short, it would be nice if it were slightly taller so it would better clear the relays next to the battery. Other than that I got it in and it seems to work well.

Fitment was a bit hard. Wasn't expecting to be perfect based on price and who ever made it. Works good no issues so far.

Had to modify to fit properly. Boots are very cheap. Clamps were all bent. Do not recommend. I’d spend the extra money and get something worth it.

I used on a different application, so with some modifications, it fit fine. It’s good for the price you pay.
