This chuck is very well made in all regards. It opens and closes smoothly and it runs perfectly true. It's very heavy and seems extremely sturdy. Time will tell, but I'm confident this item will last longer than I will.

Very nice quality chuck. Works great and is an excellent upgrade for my Clarke CWL1000 lathe for me learning turning on. Would recommend.
